Vichithra is a South Indian actress primarily recognized for her roles in Tamil films. She additionally appeared in cameo and guest roles in numerous films in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industry.
Her big break arose in the guise of an alluring and charming role in Selva’s Thalaivasal movie in the year 1992, in which she performed the role as ‘Madippu’ Hamsa. Actress Vichitra’s Early Life
Actress Vichitra was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu but her parents were said to have Mysore based ancestral history. Later after her marriage to Shaji, she relocated and moved to Pune and retired from performing and took up a position in their firm as a consultant in Jaya and sons as she is also a psychology graduate and who holds a bachelor’s degree in the field of study. Her parents were Mary Vasantha and late actor Williams who was very unfortunately robbed and murdered in an incident that took place in September 2011, she has three siblings – two sisters and a brother. After her marriage with Shaji, Vichitra was blessed with three sons.

Late in the year 1992, she starred in the role as Hamsa in the Tamil commercial drama film ‘Thalaivasal,’ directed by Silva and music scored by Bala Bharathi.
Then on February 1st, 1993, S. Ganesharaj directed and scripted the Tamil action fictional film “Chinna Thayee,” in which actress Vichitra played the role of Ponnamma next to Vignesh and Padma Shri. She was cast as a cameo guest star in the paranormal and spooky film ‘Aathma’ in 1993. The film was directed by Prathap K. Pothan and was centred on Irving Wallace’s novel “The Miracle.” Vichitra’s debut hit “Rasigan” premiered in theatres on July 8, 1994, under the direction of Actor Vijay’s father and director S. A. Chandrasekhar, and survived there and went on for 150 consecutive days. IMDb gave the film a score of 7.2.

Cooku with Comali, frequently shortened as CWC, is a South Indian Tamil-language entertainment show that airs on Star Vijay and available on Disney+ Hotstar, in which contestants collaborate each week with unprofessional and novice cooks who are entertainers (comalis) along with professional amateur cooks in which Vichitra appeared as a cooking contestant. The fourth season began on January 28, 2023 and concluded on July 30, 2023. Every week, the cooking contestants and their comalis are challenged and judged by well famous guiness recorder Chef Damu and Chef Venkatesh Bhat. In which she appeared and gained prominence as a comali in season 4 and attracted quite a few fan base. To add more success and attraction to her career she is the contestant of Bigg Boss house season 7 broadcasted on Star Vijay and hosted by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.
